The White House just released a National Action Plan To Combat Human Trafficking. It includes 61 protocols (Protection, Prevention, and Protection) and Cross-Cutting Approaches.
Under these Protocols, they prioritize the need for preventative education in schools, educating the private sector who may come in contact with those who may be victimized (trafficked) including travel, tourism, healthcare, and more, enhancing avenues for protection of traffickers. Additionally, highlights the need for partnership throughout the protocol and the value and need for survivor leadership and efforts.
